Wedding Photography
There have been times when I’ve been caught up in the emotion of a speech or a reading, tears streaming down my face, grateful to have my camera in front of me to maintain my professional dignity.
That emotion never gets old to me. Twelve years and more than a hundred weddings later and I still get choked at the warmth, love and tenderness of the day.
It starts with a connection. To you as a couple. To your story. A commitment to capture the detail, the emotion and the spirit of your day.
Your bond with your wedding photographer is a special one and something I feel very privileged to be a part of.
When you work with me as your wedding photographer whilst I’d like to discuss what you want from your shoot, what I really want to understand is you as a couple. What makes you tick, how you fell in love and the story behind your big day.
It’s that connection that makes all the difference.
I love to capture the details that you’ve poured your heart and soul into but experience tells me that it’s the images that catch the love, friendship and laughter between your nearest and dearest that you’ll cherish the most.
Getting together before the big day for an engagement shoot is an important part of the experience. It’s a great opportunity to have some fun, capture some truly fun and informal images and shake off those nerves about being in front of the camera.
On the day I’ll unobtrusively capture the natural moments as they happen. I’ll keep posed shots to a minimum to ensure that your photography doesn’t interrupt the natural flow of the day whilst making sure there are enough to keep Grandma happy.
