A couple of weeks ago, I had the most amazing job to do, one beautifully sunny Friday afternoon. My brief was to photograph a Real Fairy tea party, complete with Fairy Pillow Sausage Rolls, Moo Cow Milkshakes, Honeycomb Cupcakes with Bees and Jammy Stars (yes, complete sugar rush – but I was OK after a glass of water or two!)
This was all for an upcoming article in Baby Surrey and Baby London magazines with Helen Nathan, kitchen goddess and authoress of the Flossie Crums children’s baking books.
Here is the most gorgeous compilation of images for your visual delight – can’t you just FEEL summer and hear the screams of Fairy (and Bumble Boy) Delights ?!?!

So, here is the second half of Rachel and Simon’s Loseley Park Wedding Shoot. We moved from the front of the house, into the gardens, but finding them a little flower-less we ended up just outside, where they had wanted a silhouette shot on the day of the wedding – not really doable that day, so we worked it in during this session instead.
Let me know what you think !
You may remember the lovely Rachel & Simon’s Loseley Park Wedding from back in September 2010. The weather that day was ‘challenging’ to say the least, and was probably some of the worst blustery and rainy conditions for ages. But, that didn’t stop us from getting some beautiful imagery – we were lucky enough for the rain and wind to abate long enough for the 90-minute reception in the blooming gardens.
That said, our ever eager couple decided that they would like another shoot, with more time, better weather and less stress than on the wedding day. So, we headed back to Loseley Park last week on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year, so far – absolute bliss!
We took the entire afternoon to just relax and shoot, with no worries (apart from being told off when we tried to have a picnic on the lawn!) Unfortunately those gorgeous gardens were practically barren on this occasion, as the gardening staff seemed to be working in a frenzy, probably getting ready for the official opening in a few weeks!
A big Thank You to Aimee who was my very able assistant on the day.
So, without further ado, here are the first four of my favourite shots from that day:
Just a quick one this time around, and with a new Blog Header format too – what do you think ?
So, these gorgeous identical twins are Annabelle and Olivia, and were my second summer shoot for Baby Surrey Magazine.
Quite a few more coming up, so stay tuned …
A great set of pics Matt, and I love the way you’ve designed the layout of the images
Ah bless I love these, lovely work Matt, they are really magical. N x
