Well … what a show! An exhausting setup and breakdown (thankfully all under cover) and three full-on and hectic days, but it was all so worth it! There was something a little different about the atmosphere this time round and the staff were all on overdrive, and all as helpful as usual, if not more-so!

I was lucky enough to meet and hang out with some of the event staff on the very eventful Saturday night – all good fun! (Mostly!)

Congratulations to Vicky and Dan from Maida Vale, who were the lucky winners of our wedding photography competition. Dan was thrilled when we spoke earlier today and said, very excitedly, “I’ve never won anything before!”. They’re not getting married until December, so their pre-wedding shoot images will be up sometime late summer.

Thank you to the couples who booked us at the show, and those who have called and booked since. We’re really looking forward to meeting you all again !

None of my shows would be complete, or possible, without the help of some very special friends … this time around, i’d like to say a huge thanks to The Wedding Community, namely Kim for her wallpapering expertise, and Dave for his lifting and van packing expertise.

Thanks also to my little helpers for the weekend; my trusty, cheesecake-loving assistant, Isabelle, my lovely bride, Kate (who helped out for the final time this show) and my good friend Binky.

Well, it’s been a very busy few weeks indeed. With the new year comes the National Wedding Show at Olympia in London, and this time around it’s all change for Matt Pereira Photography .. well, almost all change.

We will be in our usual spot on stand C69, but this time there will be none of those horrid white walls or dull lights that everybody gets as standard. We’ve pulled out all the stops this year, and it’s promising to be a smashing one indeed.

Everything is under wraps for now, but i’ll be posting pictures once this weekend is over.

Better than that though, why not come and see us in person, grab a bag of home-made cookies, and have a chat about your wedding plans ?

Once again, we’re on Stand C69 – the show runs from 12-7pm on Friday 19th February, 10-6pm on Saturday 20th and 10-5pm on Sunday 21st.
